Our History

Farm to Kitchen Foods started in 2009 with a mission to create healthy artisan food products using local and organic ingredients. The reason for starting Farm to Kitchen Foods was simple. Why is our hummus traveling from California? It’s pretty much just chickpeas right? Oh how simple it sounded then…

Since 2009 Farm to Kitchen Foods has developed over 20 unique products and continues to add to their culinary creations. We support local farmers whenever possible and make both shelf stable and fresh products. Our products are available at select retail stores and through home delivery programs like Green B.E.A.N Delivery.

Great food starts with great ingredients. We are proud of our quality ingredients and encourage you to examine them. They're masterfully woven together by our Chef Brandon Hamilton to create food that is sure to make you FEEL GOOD!

Our Mission

Located in the south side of Indianapolis, Farm to Kitchen Foods is proud to support local food by sourcing many of its ingredients from Midwest farmers. Whether you're looking for a fresh addition to your kitchen flavor arsenal or the perfect "taste of the Midwest" gift, our delicious creations are sure to please. Our mission is simple - To create unique foods with quality ingredients that make you FEEL GOOD, and support local food in the process!

The Farm to Kitchen Foods Team

The Farm to Kitchen Foods team includes Executive Chef Brandon Hamilton and the owners Matt Ewer and Elizabeth Blessing. Matt is a food entrepreneur and owns companies that are focused on resolving the issues that surround local food systems and their development. He's also an organic farmer and produces several of our ingredients. Elizabeth has a master’s degree in nutrition and is a nutrition educator. As a seasoned chef with a degree in Culinary Arts, Brandon Hamilton instructs at The Chef’s Academy in Indianapolis and is responsible for creating our delicious recipes. Our sous chef, Heidi Hunt, was once a student of Chef Brandon and is still learning from him today.  Heidi is in charge of our day to day operations and does a fantastic job of keeping F2K products consistent and delicious! The combination makes for great and locally produced culinary creations!
